Still Spirits Pot Still Alembic Dome

Turn the G30 Grainfather into a micro-distillery or convert your T500 reflux setup to a Pot still to by attaching the Alembic Condenser and Dome Top.

The Alembic pot still attachments can be used to distil both water and alcohol, you must check the legal requirements of your country of residence regarding alcohol distillation and obtain all necessary licences and permits before using this equipment for distilling alcohol.

Whiskeys are also made from grain and follow a similar process to brewing beer in the Grainfather. After fermenting the whiskey wort, attach the dome and condenser and you will be distilling full flavoured, rich tasting whiskey.

Pot Still Alembic Dome:

The large copper surface area of this dome top acts as a catalyst with the vapour in the Grainfather and helps enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas as well as removing unwanted sulphur compounds. This produces a smoother, richer, sweeter tasting spirit.

Alembic Condenser – Available Separately Code 60830:

This condenser retains the flavour rather than stripping it out by refluxing. This comes with a thermometer, tubing and tap adaptor set.
