Dark Arts Black IPA Ale All Grain Recipe Kit 23L – A truly magic drop that will hold you under its spell!

This Single Vessel All Grain recipe is our version of a Cascadian Dark Ale or as it is now better known, a Black IPA. This beer draws on the fruity hop forward nature of an American IPA with a firm bitterness. Presenting dark brown to black in colour the hop forward nature is balanced perfectly by the addition of the caramel, rye and roasted malts. With a base of Maris Otter and the addition of Munich and flaked barley this beer has a strong malt profile that carries the late addition hops perfectly for a well-balanced beer true to style. This Black IPA has firm bitterness at circa. 67 IBU’s with an ABV of circa. 6.5%. A cracking beer that is sure to impress. Enjoy!

• Hops: 300g Citra/Amarillo/Simcoe
• Yeast: 2 x Mangrove Jacks US West Coast M44
• Kettle Fining: Whirlfloc tablet – use 1/2 only
• Other: 1 x Small Hop / Grain Bag for dry hopping
