Freight Policy

At Aussie Brewmakers, we recognize the pivotal role that shipping costs play in your decision-making process when purchasing home brew supplies online. Our commitment is to provide a competitive overall cost, combining product value and freight expenses, to enhance the satisfaction of our customers.

For the convenience of our home spirits makers and home brewers, we’ve curated various bundles that come with Free Freight, including our renowned signature all-grain and extract beer recipes.

Please take note of the following:

Certain Aussie Brewmakers products necessitate a freight quote before dispatch. This requirement is explicitly outlined in the product listing, typically applying to large and bulky items such as Kegerators, Grainfathers, BrewZilla, All Grain Brewery Systems, and bulk purchases of beer tins and/or sugars.

Aussie Brewmakers reserves the right to adjust freight charges, particularly for large, heavy, and bulky items, especially to remote rural areas, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. It’s important to note that only 5% of online orders over the past four years required freight adjustments, demonstrating our commitment to subsidizing freight costs for remote and rural locations. If you are in a remote area, failure to contact us before placing an order may result in a subsequent request to accept additional freight charges before dispatch. If these charges are not acceptable, a full refund will be offered, and the order canceled. The notification process will follow these steps:

  1. An email detailing additional freight charges will be sent within 24 hours of order placement.
  2. If there is no response within 24 hours, two additional email attempts will be made over the following days to communicate the additional charges.
  3. In the event of no response after 10 days, a full refund will be initiated for non-acceptance of the additional freight charges.

Refunds for non-acceptance of additional freight charges will be processed in full through the following methods:

– Direct Credit to the original payment method, ensuring the safety of your card details through encrypted merchant services.
– PayPal if the original payment was made through PayPal.
– Afterpay if the initial payment was made via Afterpay.

Please be aware that Aussie Brewmakers is subject to regular repricing from freight carriers, and we reserve the right to amend our Freight Policy at our discretion. Any changes will be promptly updated on our website, and the amended terms will be effective immediately, unless otherwise stated.

Returns & Refunds Policy

At Aussie Brewmakers, we value your satisfaction and strive to provide you with the best shopping experience. Please review our refund and return policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

Refunds will be processed under the following conditions:

1. **Defective Products:**
– Refunds will be issued for defective products.
– Notification of defective items must be made within 48 hours of received order. Failure to do this indicates you are happy with the shipment received and only warranty claims will be addressed after this date.
– Upon return and inspection, a refund will be processed, including return postage fees.

2. **Change of Mind (Unused, Unopened Goods):**
– Returns of unused, unopened goods due to a change of mind are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
– Excludes consumables like grain, hops, yeast, and other ingredients.
– A 25% restocking fee (based on the order value) will be applied, and the original shipping fee must be covered by the customer.
– Return postage and fees are the responsibility of the customer.

**Terms for Change of Mind Returns:**
To qualify for a change of mind return, the following conditions must be met:
1. The product must be in new, saleable condition and not used or abused.
2. The customer covers the cost of postage back to us.
3. The original cost of postage is non-refundable.
4. Returns for consumables cannot be accepted due to their perishable nature.

If any of the above conditions are not satisfied, Aussie Brewmakers reserves the right to refuse the return.

**Late or Missing Refunds:**
If you haven’t received a refund, please follow these steps:
1. Check your bank account.
2. Contact your credit card company.
3. Contact your bank.
4. If issues persist, contact us.

**Sale Items:**
Both sale and regular priced items may be returned and refunded.

We offer exchanges for defective or damaged items and change of mind (un-used goods). Additional details include:
– Credit for return shipping costs if the item is defective.
– Responsibility for return shipping costs for damaged items without freight protection.
– Customer responsibility for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.
– Use of a trackable shipping service is mandatory.
– Items must be returned in their original packaging.
