Grainfather Camlock Conversion Kit

This Kit will upgrade your Grainfather to Camlock fittings for the pump return circulation pipe, recirculation arm and counterflow chiller.

Camlocks are easier to attach / remove and provide a secure connection. You will never have issues seating the screw connections on your Grainfather ever again!

The Grainfather Camlock Upgrade kit is all 304 Stainless Steel and is easy to install. All you need is

– Sharp Knife

– 2 x Shifters / Spanners

– A hacksaw (to remove the rolled lip on the Recirculation arm)

– Some plumbing tape (to ensure the 1/2 BSP threads are watertight

– Heat Gun / Boiling Water (to soften Counterflow tube to fit over barb)

The upgrade kit includes:

– 1/2 to 3/8 Reducing Bush

– Female Camlock x 1/2 BSP Female

– Male Camlock x 1/2 BSP Female

– 12.7mm Compression Fitting to 1/2 BSP Male

– Male Camlock x 13mm Barb

Please note the following:

– This upgrade kit is not a Grainfather product. You will be installing this at your own risk.

– If you are unsure of the fitting procedure please contact us at Aussie Brewmakers for further information.

– No responsibility will be taken by Aussie Brewmakers for damage to your Grainfather during or after the installation of this upgrade kit.

– Care must be taken when removing / replacing fittings on the pump recirculation pipe to ensure the pipe does not flex and damage the welded tabs holding the pipe to the boiler.
