Mangrove Jacks Craft Series – M76 Bavarian Lager Yeast

Description:
A bottom-fermenting yeast designed for a wide range of traditional and modern lager styles. M76 delivers clean, well-rounded malt character with well-pronounced hop flavors and low sulfur production, making it ideal for crisp, balanced lagers.

Style Suitability:

  • Helles

  • Pilsner

  • Munich Dunkel

  • Märzen

  • Rauchbier

  • Vienna Lager

  • Other European-style lagers

Fermentation Profile:

  • Attenuation: Medium to High (approx. 77–82%)

  • Flocculation: High – results in excellent clarity

  • Alcohol Tolerance: Up to 9% ABV

  • Fermentation Temperature: 8–14 °C (46–57 °F) for traditional lagers

    • Can be used up to ~18 °C (64 °F) for faster fermentation with slightly more esters

Usage Directions:
Sprinkle directly onto up to 23 L (6 US Gal) of wort. No rehydration necessary.

Storage Recommendations:
Store in the fridge to maintain viability and freshness.
