Condenser Conversion Kit Pure Distilling

This high yield conversion kit easily retrofits any Pure Distilling reflux still (manufactured before mid November 2014) in just minutes. Gives you far more alcohol and runs faster than ever before.

Gives on average around a litre more and saves up to an hour.

Best used with the Pure Distilling Alarm Thermometer for almost automatic operation.

Simple to use still no fiddling with cooling water or needle valves.

Easy to fit instructions.

Remove existing tap from condenser.

Remove the copper output tube from the tap. (Don’t remove the entire fitting, just the nut and tube.

Screw the output tube onto the new High Yield tap. Do not overtighten it just needs to nipped up.

If it seems like your old tube won;t screw nicely onto the new fitting, then you will need to change your old nut and olive. Cut your output tube just to the left of the existing olive and remove the nut. Slide on the new nut and olive and tighten the nut by hand, then use a spanner to tighten it only 1.5 turns.

Add new fitters tape and fit the tap to the condenser.

Make sure he output tube is sloping slightly downwards from the tap.

You then MUST follow the new instructions supplied with this kit to get the full benefits of the tap.
