StellarSan Sanitiser (Phosphoric Acid Blend) 500ml

Description

100% Food Grade non-rise sanitiser that can be diluted to 500L with our dual chamber mixing bottle compartment. Simply twist off the small measuring compartments lid, squeeze the bottle and it will start to fill that chamber only. Even when youre finished sanitising your products in a bucklet for example, you can still re-use the sanitiser over and over again. Making it a no brainer for your brewing sanitising needs and the cost to you is greatly reduced. The new and improved phosphoric acid blend provides a unique microorganism killing system, unafected by organic soils and delivering a high foaming formulation with optimum coverage and penetration. Please note foam is okay! foamy bottles, kegs, fermenters to be 100% foam free before using. Our formula can be metabolised by the yeast as a nutrient. Which will impart no off-odours or flavours. Unlike other harsh chemical sanitisers StellarSan is a non-staining, non-corrosive on stainless steel, and stable over a wide range of temperatures.

Instructions:

Remove all debris, food particles and soil from the surface by a pre-flush, scrape, or soaking. We highly recommend using a Sodium Percarbonate solution to remove stubborn solid debris from your brewing equipment. Then thoroughly wash surface with detergent then rinse with potable water. Prepare a set amount of water first in your dilution jug/bucket then add the corresponding amount of StellarSan at 1oz/5gallons or 1.5mL/1Liter. Adding the water first aids in overfoaming when filling from a tap, and also helps prevent seal and washer exposure to acid burn. Apply on surface with a mop, cloth sponge, spray or immersion. When correctly diluted this solution will add 300ppm of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid and 780ppm of phosphoric acid. Do not use on wood, unglazed porcelain or other porous materials. Not suitable for use on soft metal such as aluminium, copper & brass.
