Blue Butterfly Pea Flowers – 20g – Typically infused into Gins & Cocktails these flowers create a beautiful blue drink that with the addition of an acidic mixer (such as lemon juice or tonic) transforms the drink to a vibrant purple!
The Blue Butterfly Pea Flowers are perfect for creating adventurous Gins and Cocktails.
Suggested Dosage / Use:
Circa. 10 flowers per 250ml Gin / Alcohol steeped overnight in a sealed container or until a dark blue colour is achieved. Then remove flowers. If the colour is more purple than blue you can add a pinch of baking soda to raise the pH and bring out the blue. When drinking, add citrus, tonic or any acidic mixer which will lower the pH and transform the drink to a vibrant purple hue.
