K-Krush-Kaiju Krush Clone-Tropical Pale Recipe Kit

This recipe kit is our extract take on the popular Kaiju! Krush Tropical Pale Ale. This session Tropical Pale has a super clean malt profile with a huge juicy tropical hit from the large addition of four American & Australian Hops in the boil, steep and dry hop. At circa. 4.8% with a moderate amount of bitterness it is an easy drinker.

This recipe is in the style of Kaiju! Krush Tropical Pale and might not be an exact clone, but if you like the commercial offering then you will be sure to love this brew.

This recipe is another great introduction to experimenting with hops, wet malts and steeping grains for the beginner or intermediate brewer who wants to take their tin kit brewing to the next level.

This recipe will require some boiling and steeping – no additional equipment required other than can be found in every kitchen.

1 x 1.5kg Morgan’s Master Malts Extra Pale Liquid Malt Extract
1 x1.5kg Briess CBW Pilsen Light Liquid Malt Extract
1 x 250g Light Dried Malt Extract (LDME)
1 x 150g Cracked Carapils Grain
1 x 40g Boil 4 Hop Addition
1 x 80g Steep 4 Hop Addition
1 x 160g Dry 4 Hop Addition
1 x 10 Mangrove Jack’s Craft Series M44 West Coast Yeast
1 xSmall Grain / Hop Bag (for dry hopping)

Other Ingredients:

200g of Dextrose if kegging with no secondary fermentation (not supplied)
