Simply dip The Thief once into your fermenter for a quick sample, reaching depths of up to 500mm / 19.5″. This makes it easier than ever to monitor the progress of your beer or wine fermentation.

Crafted from high-grade acrylic for exceptional clarity, The Wine Sampler ensures precise readings every time. Its dimensions are optimized for convenience, with a length of 500mm and a diameter suitable for a hydrometer.

Using The Wine Thief is straightforward:
1. Sanitize or rinse with a non-alcohol based sanitizer before each use.
2. Submerge the empty Thief into your fermenter and then remove it.
3. Hold the Thief vertically and insert the hydrometer, twisting to dislodge bubbles and prevent clinging.
4. Gently touch the tip of The Thief to the inside of your vessel to return the sample. Avoid applying excessive force on the pin.

To minimize waste, sanitize the Wine Sampler before each use, allowing you to return the sample back to your fermenter. This ensures that you can enjoy more of your precious brew.

For added convenience, the Wine Sampler’s design allows you to easily empty it by touching the tip to the rim. And in case of any drips from the valve tip, simply tug the pin firmly to re-seat it.
